  • Kasia Grzelkowski,  President/CEO - (757) 896-8440
    BA in Government and MA in Regional Planning from Cornell University. Kasia has twenty years of experience in local government and nonprofit management.



  • Paul B. Babcock, Senior Vice President, Employment Services - 
    (757) 896-8424

    MS in Rehabilitation Counseling, Virginia Commonwealth University; BA in Sociology, Christopher Newport College. Paul has more than 25 years of direct care and management experience in the field of developmental disabilities. 



  • Diane L. Parker, Vice President, Chief Financial Officer -
    (757) 896-8450

    MBA, Old Dominion University, BS in Business Accountancy, Wright State University, Summa Cum Laude. Diane has over 20 years' experience in various financial positions and recently served as treasurer of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Eastern Virginia. 



  • Sarah Sager, Director, Marketing and Development -(757) 896-6462
    BA in English from Christopher Newport University. Sarah has held a variety of positions in the public relations and marketing industry. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.



  • Tony Williams, Director, Facilities / Safety Director- (757) 896-8429
    Graduate from Advanced Technology Institute. Tony has more than 20 years of construction and facilities management experience.

     



  • Julie Palmer, Director, Children's Services - (757) 896-8434
    Masters degree in social work. She has served in the field of mental retardation for years and has held various positions at The Arc. Currently, she is responsible for the infant intervention and prevention program. 



  • Florina M. W. Martinez, Director, Human Resources - (757) 896-8447
    Graduate of the Business College of Hampton Roads. She has served The Arc for 29 years. She currently is an Ambassador with the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of the Peninsula Personnel Association and of the Society for Human Resource Management. 



  • Linda Kerns , Director of Community Living - (757) 896-8431
    Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Masters Degree in Social Work, Norfolk State University; Bachelors Degree in Social Work, East Tennessee State University. Linda has more than 25 years of experience in providing, developing and implementing community services for people with disabilities and their caretakers.

The Arc of the Virginia Peninsula envisions a world where people with mental retardation and other disabilities enjoy dignified, productive lives of their choosing as fully accepted members of society.
